For Baba’s Maha Samadhi Centennial celebrations Sai Family, Luxembourg, planned to do something special all through the year.
In June 2018 we did Sai Palkhi seva followed by Sai sandhya.
Since Baba believed and practiced sharing and caring, we did a charity drive for clothes and donated them to an organisation ‘Stemm Von der Stross’ on October 15th 2018.
Founded in 1996, Stëmm von der Strooss works for the social and professional integration of disadvantaged people. The non-profit association, which is co-ordinated by the Ministry of Health, works in close collaboration with the Luxembourg Red Cross. Its registered office is located in Luxembourg. The association mainly supports people who are homeless, unemployed, living on a minimum wage, ex-criminals, asylum seekers, immigrants and people who suffer from addictions such as alcoholism, drugs and medication.
Alexandra Oxacelay, director of Stemm was very helpful and she informed me that they needed warm clothes and arranged everything needed for our visit.
We collected all the donation clothes and along with few members of Sai Family visited them on 15th October.
Madame Oxacelay gave us a tour of the Organisation, explained to us as to how the organisation works and was happy to receive the donation.
It was a small gesture from Sai family, Luxembourg. But this would not have been possible without infinite grace of Baba, support from Sai family members.
